Mike Medeiros
I am a political scientist whose research has focused on how social diversity shapes political attitudes and behaviour.
My academic background in political psychology and public opinion also informs my interest in strategic communications, public relations, and audience behaviour.
I specialize in Canadian and Quebec politics and have regularly contributed to news media, providing analysis of political developments in Canada.
Although my research has primarily focused on Western European and Anglo-American cases, I am interested in sociopolitical phenomena around the world.
I have served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and as an Adjunct Professor at the Université de l'Ontario français in Toronto. I have also been a Research Fellow at the Politics of Race and Ethnicity Lab at the University of Texas at Austin.
My work has been published in journals including Comparative Political Studies, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Electoral Studies, and Political Behavior.
